Privacy policy for Forest Row Replacement Windows
This page explains what happens to the details you give through this website, by phone or by email. Last updated October 2026.
What we collect
When you send the request form we receive your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the number of windows you chose and anything you write in the message box. If you email contact@forestrowreplacementwindows.com we receive your email address and what you write. If you phone, the call goes to the installer described below.
Why, and on what basis
We use your details only to answer your enquiry: to arrange a survey and send you a quote. The legal basis is your request, which is a step towards a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to you. We do not use your details for marketing, sell them or share them with anyone other than the installer.
Who receives them
Form enquiries are sent by email to a single FENSA-registered window installer that covers Forest Row and the nearby villages. Once the installer has your enquiry, it is responsible for how it uses your details to survey and quote, and it will tell you its name when it contacts you. The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site.
How long we keep them
If your enquiry does not turn into a job, your details are deleted 12 months after we were last in touch, or sooner if you ask. If you go ahead with the work, the records of your job are kept for six years after it is finished, because tax rules, the guarantee and possible legal claims all need them.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details held about you, have them corrected, or have them deleted, by emailing contact@forestrowreplacementwindows.com. Should a reply not satisfy you, the UK data regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, takes complaints through its website.
